Guestbook - A warme welcome in the Hotel Monaco

My husband and I arrived in Munich, by night train from Lake Bled,(Slovenia) on Thursday morning. It was wonderful to only have to walk two blocks from the train station (in the rain) to our hotel - The Monaco. We were warmly welcomed by the staff. They graciously allowed us to store our luggage at the hotel until check in time. We then enjoyed a day of exploring Munich.

When the Monaco staff noticed that we could use an umbrella they offered us two. They invited us to consider their breakfast. We accepted the invitation and thoroughly enjoyed the selection and quality. What a great value!

We had heard about The Monaco in the Rick Steves' Germany travel book. His comments were accurate. It is a wonderful place to stay in Munich.
